set in a natural, alpine amphitheater, against the backdrop of the remarkables mountain range, the golf course at Millbrook exploits the dramatic terrain fully, delivering world-class golf. Millbrook is quite simply a fantastic golf resort.
the original 18 hole, par 72 championship course was designed by the legendary master golfer Sir Bob Charles. it features four different tee positions for complete enjoyment at all levels of playing expertise.
in 2010 Millbrook added the ‘coronet nine’ to its arsenal, a more naturally rugged and challenging nine than the more resort-style original layout. this boosts Millbrook’s standing as a premier course and has helped Millbrook obtain it’s co-hosting of the NZ open status.

opened in 2007, The Hills Golf Club is set over 101 hectares (250 acres) of former deer farm on the outskirts of Arrowtown in Central Otago. the mill race winds its way through the property and feeds the ten lakes and various ponds and waterways on the golf course. trees, both native and exotic, are a feature of the course.
sculptures crafted by New Zealand artists compliment the natural beauty of the course’s lakes, waterways and wetland areas. winter snow and frost conditions provide the ideal climate for the finest grasses suited to the modern day game of golf.
The Hills has hosted several NZ PGA and NZ open tournaments in it’s short history and is the current NZ Open host course along with Millbrook Resort.
jacks point golf club

Location: 20 minutes south of Queenstown

this could be New Zealand’s most spectacular course. the Jacks Point golf course is bounded by the remarkables mountain range and lake wakatipu. it traverses through wetland to the lake edge encountering steep bluffs, indigenous vegetation and wildlife. it is designed to work with nature, not against it. fairways are designed with minimal excavation and careful plantings to complement the natural environment, but also to give the golfer a fighting chance.
Jack’s Point has 4 tee positions to be enjoyed by golfers of all levels, and plays long off the back tees at over 7,200 yards. fairways are generous in places but strategic narrow sections make it a placement golf course. get too aggressive and you can be made to suffer! for those lucky enough to have played the course, you’ll discover that course knowledge is useful for a good score.

These luxurious suites are ideally located close to the resort centre and have a large ensuite bathroom, with separate bath and shower, and a choice of either a spacious lounge or fully-equipped kitchen.
